The new R-DESIGN models are available from William A. Lewis Volvo on a contract hire rate of £279 a month. Last year the contract hire charge was over £400 a month.
“I believe the V60 and S60 are going to be a tremendous hit for Volvo,” said William A. Lewis Volvo Sales Manager Patrick Webster.
“In the run-up to March 1 it’s a fantastic offer backed by a powerful television campaign.”
He said the Shrewsbury-based dealership had carried out a survey of customers to find out what people most want. “The overwhelming response from people questioned was all about cost,” said Patrick. “What people want is fixed cost motoring and we are doing just that.
“On every new Volvo registered up to March 31 we are providing three years free servicing. We understand these are hard times and everyone is stretched.
“So we think the introduction of three years free servicing will help people during a period when money is tight.”
He added: “We also believe it is a way of repaying customers who have been loyal to William A. Lewis Volvo during its 50-plus years in business.
“People recognise that we are giving customers something back.”
